Bio Green History of the Company

Bio Green, the product began in 2002 by John Perry, an entrepreneur who through his work in the nursery and landscape field saw a critical need to replace synthetic based fertilizers.  His research and development was directed toward creating an effective green product made from renewable domestic ingredients which posed no threat to the environment. 

What resulted was an all natural Bio Based fertilizer and soil amendment that evolved over 4 years of development and testing to become Bio Green.  John initially brought this product to market through lawn fertilization spray services in Reno and Lake Tahoe, Nevada.

Bio Green USA, Inc. was founded in 2005 for the purpose of introducing Bio Green to the rest of the country.  Since that time, Bio Green USA has been adding Licensed Lawn Fertilization Spray Distributors in cities all across the U.S.  In addition to this, Bio Green Ag (BGAG) Complete Agricultural Nutrition™ and Bio Green Professional Turf Nutrition™ products have been welcomed by the professional turf and agriculture industries.  In 2009, Bio Green introduced BGWildlife™ for use with wildlife habitats and hunting food plots.

The USDA took notice of Bio Green USA in 2008, adding Bio Green as a BioPreferred℠ product for federal procurement and inviting Bio Green USA to participate in the BioPreferred showcase at the annual GSA International Products and Services Expo.  Bio Green USA also became an EPA Greenscapes Alliance Partner in 2008.

The future of Bio Green USA is bright and we are pleased to be at the forefront of the national movement to restore and maintain the health of our environment and minimize our dependence on the petroleum based fertilizers that are linked to numerous pollution problems.
